From more than ten years of experience working with hundreds of youth in recreational and therapeutic settings, I connect easily with young people. I empathize with their struggles and instill hope in their future. I help them develop skills they need to feel good about themselves and be successful in the real world. Common issues addressed include anxiety, depression, OCD, stress management, divorce adjustment, trauma, family and peer relationships, self-esteem, behavioral challenges, and self-harm behaviors. I use a variety of techniques including art and play therapy to engage youth of all ages in the therapy process.
Many adults face challenges managing the stresses of life. I offer emotional support and concrete tools for dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, relationship difficulties, parenting, and women's issues. I am especially sensitive to the needs of women experiencing challenges during pregnancy and postpartum.
Family relationships can be complex. With my specialized training in family therapy, I work to help families understand relationship dynamics, resolve conflict, and strengthen bonds. I also specialize in helping parents develop effective parenting practices.
